Shpapi

Shpapi started with my brother, in a college dorm room, with a shared eye for style and no clue where it would go.

The name came the same way everything else did: naturally, but never by accident. Back home in Mexico, our friends always called us Papi. One night on the beach, we added the Sh, and it just clicked. Smoother. Sleeker. A name that moved like the vision in our heads.

Mexico raised us. New York challenged us. Growing up between both taught us how to move through different worlds without losing yourself in either. That's still what we design for.

We didn't set out to make eyewear. We set out to build something worth being part of. Every pair has its own personality, and every one is named after someone real: a close friend, a face from the community, someone already part of the story. If you know the name, you're already family.

Some names you inherit. This one, we made, and we're still writing what it means.
